Legendary singer, 2baba has reacted to Burna Boy’s claims of being the best after afrobeat king, Fela Kuti.
Recall that the African Giant as he is fondly called declared himself the best after Fela Kuti and that nobody paved the way for him. This statement of his became the talk of social media for days and even other singers reacted to his claims. In a recent interview, 2baba who has a track with the singer We Must Groove which is off his latest album Warriors.
According to him, different people have their own realities of how they were brought up and Burna must have been raised in a different way so his mentality can not be changed. In terms of paving the way, 2baba explained that everyone has a different version of that means to them. He added that we have to look at the other side of things and explained that even if he wasn’t there Burna would have still come up
If I wasn’t there, would Burna Boy be there? you have to ask yourself. So the fact that somebody is was there before doesn’t mean this person wouldn’t he said. TheAfrican Queen singer further added that he respects Burna Boy for that and that everyone needs to understand him.
