Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate Handi has disclosed that she was against her twin sister Wanni’s interest in Grammy-nominated singer Davido. Handi expressed her disapproval during a conversation with Shaun and Wanni on Wednesday, explaining that she believed Wanni would not receive the respect she deserved in a relationship with the singer.
In their discussion, Wanni touched on her “situation” with Davido, though she avoided using his name, instead referencing a famous lyric from his song “Champion Sound.”
Wanni mentioned: “Let’s not call names but I told him [Shaun] about the situation with [sings the line from ‘Champion Sound’] ‘Take me away’. And he was like, that he would have been disappointed if I did something with him.”
Handi responded: “hmmm me too o!”
Shaun added: “I don’t think it differently.”
Handi continued: “We fought seriously on our tour. It’s a different thing if you were in a relationship but for what? Because you have a crush on the person you just want to jump in. And the guy is bipolar as f*ck. I told her he won’t respect her.”
