Nigerian rapper, CDQ has decided to give back to the society as he kicks off the CDQ Education Empowerment Initiative (CEEi).
The singer took to his Instagram page to share photos of the event. He wrote #CEEi (CDQ Education Empowerment Initiative) commencement ??? Let`s go ?? Woss Wobi ? Stay in school kids ? ??
The programme kicked off with a trip to Ilorin, Kwara State where he paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Ilorin’s palace. The aim of this was to inform the Emir of his plans for secondary schools in the state. On the next day, he proceeded to his alma mater Government Secondary School Ilorin “GSS” where he graduated several years ago.
CDQ was well received as students of the school could not control their excitement over his visit. He and his team shared writing materials which consisted of books, pens and wall clocks intended for several students.
As stated by his publicist, the initiative’s aim is to distribute writing materials to all secondary schools in the state. This is perceived as a major problem as most students are unable to afford writing materials required for their stay in school. He also encouraged the students to stay in school in order to be better leaders of tomorrow.
