D’banj, born Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo on June 9, 1980, in Zaria, Nigeria, is a renowned Nigerian musician, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and TV personality. He rose to fame with hits like “Tongolo” (2005) and “Oliver Twist” (2012), the latter achieving international success. He co-founded Mo’Hits Records with Don Jazzy, significantly impacting the Nigerian music scene, and later signed with Kanye West’s GOOD Music in 2011.
D’banj’s entrepreneurial ventures include Koko Holdings and the C.R.E.A.M platform, supporting emerging Nigerian talents.
