Fireboy DML has achieved another impressive feat with his 2021 hit jam, PERU.
PERU’s Remix featuring Ed Sheeran has just been certified Silver in the UK.
According to The BRIT Certified Platinum, Gold & Silver Awards, PERU’s remix is the fastest Afrobeats song to be certified silver in less than 5 weeks. A record is certified Silver after it has sold over 200,000 units.
Recall, that the song remix was released in December 2021, and it drove music lovers crazy after listening to Ed Sheeran’s verse.
This coming days after Davido, Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy, and others campaigned for PERU to make the No. 1 spot on the UK Official Music Charts.
