In the early hours of Monday (Sunday in Oregon), Tobi Amusan won the women`s 100m hurdles gold at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
The Nigerian 100mH athlete destroyed the World Record powering 12.12s in the semifinal. Tobi Amusan then storms to the world 100m hurdles title in the final, 12.06 (+2.5 m/s)! She now holds the two fastest 100mH records in the world to become Nigeria’s first world champion and record holder.
After the news of her victory hit the internet, Nigerians and Africans worldwide have taken to social media to sing her praises and also celebrate her. Kizz shared a video of Tobi giving to his national anthem, Buga after winning the race. As seen in the video, Tobi was full of energy as she vibes hard to the song.
