Singer Simi has gushed over her colleague Chike`s melodic voice.
She said she loves his voice, adding that it is laden with emotions.
The mother of one stated this in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos.
Tooxclusive recalls that Chike and Simi collaborated on a love song titled ”˜Running To You` in 2021.
Simi said the ”˜Boo of The Booless` crooner was full of gratitude to her for the collaboration.
She said:
“I actually love Chike`s voice so much. There is so much emotions his voice carries. When he wanted to do the song ”˜Running To You`, I don`t even think I was around. He sent it to me. He already had a version of the song on his album, but I hadn`t heard the album at the time. And when I sent the version, I was like, ”˜This is so beautiful.`
“I was so happy to do it. Funny thing is that I`ve done quite a number of features, but he Chike was just very appreciative. He kept showing how appreciative he is, and I really liked that.”
