Rumor has it that Kanye West will be taking over Virgil Abloh’s job at Louis Vuitton.
Kanye West is one of the biggest names in the fashion world, becoming a multi-billionaire all thanks to his Yeezy brand. He has never hidden his passion to conquer the fashion world an dit may seem a though his dreams are fast becoming reality.
According to The Sun, rapper Kanye West could lead menswear department fashion house, Louis Vuitton”¦ Sources told reporters that the singer will replace late designer Virgil Abloh, who shockingly died of cancer last month.
Kanye`s achievements in the fashion industry were recently confirmed by ex-wife Kim Kardashian while receiving an award at the People’s Choice Award, which she dedicated to her ex-husband.
Virgil designed some of Kanye’s most iconic album covers and while it has not been confirmed by LVMH or Ye that he is being considered for the role, it would make sense that he would be interested as a way to cherish Virgil’s legacy at Louis Vuitton.
