Nigerian music continues to dominate the global streaming landscape, and the latest all-time Spotify rankings highlight just how far the country’s biggest stars have come.
Leading the pack is Wizkid, who remains Nigeria’s most-streamed artist of all time on Spotify with an incredible 11.2 billion streams. Close behind is Burna Boy with 10.3 billion, as the two Afrobeats giants continue to set the pace for African music on the world’s largest streaming platform.
Rema sits comfortably in third place with 6.3 billion streams, followed by Tems, whose remarkable global rise has earned her 5.8 billion streams. The pair have become two of the most influential African artists of their generation, thanks to a string of international hits and high-profile collaborations.
The race for the remaining spots remains equally competitive. Asake occupies fifth with 3.93 billion streams, narrowly edging Davido, who follows with 3.90 billion. Ayra Starr continues her meteoric ascent in seventh place with 3.7 billion, while Omah Lay ranks eighth with 3.4 billion.
