Portable is defending Seun Kuti after music producer Samklef accused Kuti of relying on his father’s legacy and being a noisy singer. Samklef also mocked Kuti’s collaboration with Bob Marley’s son, calling it noise. However, it appears Portable isn’t in support of Samklef’s outburst, as the artiste joined a live session Samklef was hosting and proceeded to insult him.
He also asked Samklef to stop disrespecting older artists. The “Zazoo” crooner advised Samklef to create music and revive his “dead” career.
Before exiting the live session, Portable praised Kuti, reiterating that he should be treated with respect. This outburst has sparked different reactions on social media, as some fans are supporting Portable for defending Kuti, while others are criticizing the manner in which he spoke to Samklef.
