South African Rapper AKA’s Fiancee, Anele ‘Nelli’ Tembe has passed away after she allegedly fell from the tenth floor of a hotel in central Cape Town.
Details of her death are still sketchy but it is believed that Tembe fell from the 10th floor of the five-star Pepperclub Hotel this morning.
Western Cape SA Police spokesperson, Captain Frederick informed the media that crime experts were looking for clues at the hotel.
“ Cape Town Central Police are investigating an inquest case following an incident at a hotel this morning at about 7.45 am on the corners of Loop and Bloem streets, Cape Town CBD, where the body of a 22-year-old woman was found deceased, the police said in a statement.

According to Times Live, Witnesses who were staying at the hotel claimed they had heard a woman screaming, followed by a loud “doef” sound ”” and then a man shouting. A witness also reported hearing a man crying on Sunday morning, adding that the couple had been spotted the night before in the hotel elevator, looking “loved up”.
Tembe and AKA began dating last year after a video of them kissing at a restaurant went viral. In February this year, Tembe confirmed her engagement to AKA on social media.
