Nigerian hip hop artist Erigga, also known as Erhiga Agarivbie, has shared insights on why he avoids “biting the hand that feeds him.” In a recent Twitter (X) post, the rapper explained that the hands feeding him are his own, meaning he can’t betray himself. He also voiced his frustration with certain societal behaviors, stating that some Nigerians lack shame and that extreme experiences can sometimes provoke laughter.
The 37-year-old ‘Motivation’ singer wrote: “I don’t bite the hand that feeds me because 99% of the time they’re my hands.”
He added, “Some Nigerians no get shame. E get the kind shege your eye go see… you go first laugh ????.. And I still dey repeat am. May we not become so poor that we’ll fight against the truth just to eat.”
