Sensational singer, Reekado Banks has been heavily criticized by a social media user for not doing giveaways to assist those who are unable to feed themselves during the shutdown caused by the coronavirus.
Taking to his Twitter page, the Rora singer announced that he would be holding a quarantine party via his social media account to cheer up and connect with his fans. He wrote: Yo, let’s turn this quarantine thing into a party on Saturday? Location: My @YouTube channel Round pushpin Time: 7pm Naija time Clock face eight oclock
However, a Twitter user identified as Lekan who feels the singer should be using his platform to help others like his colleagues rather than play around mocked him for being insensitive to what is going on in the country. He wrote: Your mates doing giveaways in this hard times and you want to have a pary….growupkid
Reekado responded saying that he feels sorry for his bully because he is a victim of a dysfunctional country. He wrote: I feel for you. You’re a victim of a dysfunctional country and I truly do feel for you. ?
