ABOUT THE SONG
Taken directly from the book of Matt. 27:46, this song tells the story of our Lord Jesus Christ’s death, the pains which accompanied it, and His determination to overcome, in graphic musical lyrics. This song is true of a lot of christians as we sometimes go through lots of persecutions and trials during which we feel God has abandoned us. But like our Lord Jesus, we still need to take up His word and cry to Him, Lord, rescue me.
And of course, He came to Jesus’ rescue on resurrection day……..He will rescue you as well in Jesus name. Amen.
Enjoy!
