Born Adedamola Adefolahan, Fireboy DML is a Nigerian singer-songwriter whose music fuses Afropop, R&B, and soul. Dubbed the βΛfuture` of Afrobeats, Fireboy DML burst onto the music scene early 2019 with his debut album Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps. The critically acclaimed project produced a string of stand-out singles – βΛJealous`, βΛScatter` and βΛKing` which captured the attention of music fans across the globe and seamlessly brought together the artists lyrical prowess, vocal versatility and delivery.
In August 2020, Fireboy DML released his award-winning second studio album Apollo, achieving Top 10 US iTunes on its first week and garnered over 320M streams. His sophomore album, APOLLOββfeaturing guest turns by American rapper D Smoke and Nigerian singer Wande Coal rose to No. 14 on Billboard`s World Albums chart. In July 2021, he released the hit single βPeruβ on which he announced that his 3rd album is coming.
