Chike released a new music video for his hit song Egwu. The video was released on February 28, 2024, shortly after Mohhad’s untimely passing. The visuals were directed by Pink, and feature a scene of various dancers dancing to the song’s beat. Mohbad’s image is mainly featured throughout the video, and Chike pays tribute to him by incorporating his image seamlessly into the visuals.
The video ends with Chike performing a solo in style, before returning to the celebration dance scene. Chike began his career in 2015, participating in the music show Project Fame. He then went on to compete in the singing competition The Voice of Nigeria in 2016, in which he placed first. Subsequently, Chike joined Brothers Records in 2020, releasing his debut studio album, Boo Of the Booless.
