Born in the late 80s, Pepenazi, real name Kayode Opeyemi Gbenga is a rapper, singer, songwriter and has been privileged to collaborate with major artistes which include Olamide, Harrysong, Tillaman, Dapiano,Henry Knight,YQ, and many more. He has written a couple of songs for various artistes too.
Pepenazi has worked with numerous producers which include ‘Dapiano, Sarz, Samklef, Ogajojo, Tmode, Dtunes, Del-B, Tyrone, Synx,& Bamtunezand has featured on numerous mix tapes.
He wrote the Intro to Olamide’s Baddest Guy Ever Liveth Album.and also featured on it, plus Track 11 #Motivationalongside Iceprince and Endia. Not forgeting Adugbo! By T.money which also featured YQ, Alafia! By Cwan & Quality by YSG producer Dapiano.which enjoyed numerous airplay.
His earlier single Arose was produced by the beat maker Samklef in 2006. This single gathered steam and was followed by a video directed by Yinka Obebe.
