RUNZ (Obiora Ohatz) is a songwriter and singer with a knack for doing it all- he`s a graphic artist/animator and also nixed a promising opportunity to become an architect for the love of music. His blend of pop and R&B rendered on heart thumping beats provided by the genius producer Ex-O, surely is something to take note of and would surely get any crowd screaming for more.
Few years back, RUNZ made an impression on the music scene with “Detention”- an Ex-O produced love song which was a big hit on campuses and radio stations across the country. He later on took a break to concentrate on his education whilst still recording. He worked as an animator for 9ja woks and later as a graphic designer for premium music magazine SoundCity Blast.
RUNZ who just inked a management deal with CLOUD103 is back with another banger “Buga” on which he features versatile rapper Nasty J who does more than add spice to the joint which was also produced by his longtime producer Ex-O. RUNZ is set to become a major player on the Nigerian music scene.
