Nigeria’s leading mobile manufacturers, Tecno have delved into music entertainment with the flag off of their karaoke-themed TV talent search captioned #OwnTheStage.
5 contestants have already been selected from Kenya, Nigeria and Tanzania while they slug it out for who will eventually own the stage! The show already kicked off on November 21 and will run for another 11 weeks. It is hosted by on-screen personalities, Uti Nwachukwu and Vimbai. The judges are also some of Africa’s fine-bred artistes including Yemi Alade, MI Abaga and Bien of Kenyan music group, Sauti Sol. Together, they shall be tasked with making tough decisions on who owns the stage.
Even more fun, is the fact that viewers and online participants stand the chance of winning a variety of prizes every week that will be run on the quiz competition segment of the show. Questions will center around the karaoke competition and your eligibility to win can only be guaranteed by you viewer participation on an episodal basis.
