Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper. He signed a record deal with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records.

The 20years old singer has blessed our ears with hit songs like Iron man, Spaceship, Trap out the submarine, Simple things, Dumebi, Bad Commando, Ginger Me, Lady, Alien, American love, Corny, Pholo, Why, Love in the morning, Spiderman, Gutujja, Starboy, Mercy, Rainbow, Rewind, Boulevard, Woman and Beamer(Bad Boy).

He has remained confident in his style and with D’Prince’s backing, “Iron Man” was later chosen to be his debut single on the 22nd of March, when the record label officially unveiled him to the public. Some of his EPs include Rema (2019), Rema Freestyle (2019), Bad Commando (2019) and Rema remix (2020).

June 19, 2019 he released a studio album named Freestyle (EP) which was released through Mavin records, the EP has 4 tracks which are Boulevard, American love, Spiderman and Trap out of submarine. The Freestyle EP was released immediately he released his self-titled EP “Rema” which has hit tracks like Dumebi, Corny, Why, and Iron Man.

His genres are that of Afrobeats and Trap music. The Mavin’s award-winning superstar came through with another new song titled Ginger me, Alien and woman.

It’s no doubt that Rema loves trap and the genre is a part of him and his music.
