Rapper, Freaky P, has come for his industry colleagues who are not versatile enough to ‘blend on (other) sounds’.
While on a chat with TooXclusive TV host, Freaky P aired his honest-abe views on the Nigerian hip-hop culture and its perceived state, as well as the general subject of versatility – it being a trait that every good musician should possess. According to Freaky P, each and every one musician should be able to blend sounds – be you a singer or a rapper – because the general music demand varies largely, and they entertainers are the ones tasked with the responsibility of catering to same. So why be a musician if you lack the ability to blend sounds?
Freaky P who also enjoys a familial tie to popular radio OAP, Gbemi of the Beat 99.9FM, opened up his music hustle and seized opportunity to clear doubts on the notion that his association with big sister, Gbemi has availed him an unusual access (connections) to realizing his career dream. He also spoke on his upcoming single Chop Knuckle a song which he confirmed to feature Aquila Records starlet, Airboy, and was influenced by the present wave of Shaku Shaku sounds.
