Jim Donnett’s Verdict
As entertaining as the Legendury Beats produced joint was in listening, the Meji Alabi directed visual is even far more entertaining to watch. Like the title already explains, Seyi assumes the role of one who’s gone bonkers in love for her ‘baby’. In the same vein, her craziness was depicted with different hues of artistic forms which were evident in her fashion choices and their styling especially. The video concept was almost original except for the simple reason that some of us were totally getting vibes from Rihanna’s 2008 hit single, Disturbia which when compared out of context, are quite very similar.
The scenes with Wizkid are very steamy (please don’t miss the crotch grabbing and booty grinding cuts) as Seyi switches to triflan mode, trolling all over under-age Wiz. Not one to dull, tha nigga responds with deep caresses and smooches, putting the ‘BOSS’ in Ms Shay’s ‘BOSS-ette’ status. Clearly, they don’t only have an undeniable vocal chemistry and they very well nailed this ‘other’ too.

This is actually one of the best video for the year if you ask me. Seyi Shay has done it again with yet another awesome video to her hit single ‘Crazy’ featuring Starboy Wizkid. I just love every bit of the video from the weirdness to the sexiness which Seyi Shay brought to it.
The costumes Seyi Shay used in the video where just off the hook and weird. There were a lot of craziness going on the video from the kid in a box to a headless doll and also with the guy painted in white. This video can stand with any international video because it’s unique and has a very good camera effect. I like the seductive role Seyi Shay pull on Wizkid. Awesome.

I must say the Meji Alabi flick is quite interesting. Seyi Shay and Wizkid make a perfect match in the video. Their age difference doesn`t deter the romance being expressed in the video. Seyi Shay gets alluring with her seductiveness all over Wizkid. This Crazy video is nice but it does have a feel of one of Rihanna`s 2008 videos but that doesn`t stop the video from being good. After all, some works of art are inspired by previous works.

Solidstar – My Body ft. Timaya
Jim Donnett’s Verdict
I’d waited long for this video and the stand-out thing about it, is the way the plot was executed. Let me explain. For a song that talks about ‘Body’ and shows figures that are nothing relative to macho fashion, it’s a wonder how Aje worked both Solidstar and Timaya into desirable offerings for ’em ladies. This is the kind of outside the box thinking that the industry needs. Another thing to note, would be how the song’s lyrics weren’t acted out thought for thought, which you can agree has pretty much become the M.O for shooting music videos.
There’s plenty semi-nudity and of course it isn’t without the undertone of raunchiness but still, the general effort put in lowers the x-rated nature to the barest min. Isn’t that just impressive?

Solidstar did justice to the video to his hit single, My Body. I must confess I am very impress with the quality of the video. The concept was creative and the set, location and costumes were perfect because it was able to bring out the full message of the song.
There were a lot of beautiful girls and flashy lights in the video and the transition from the party to the bedroom gave the story line a great feel. I personally love the party scene because it portrays what the song actually is. Great video.

Did Aje use these raunchy girls as decoys? If he did, then he succeeded. Certainly, I did enjoy the video. The plot line goes in tune with the song. “She wants my body” and that was what happened in the video as the girls couldn`t get enough of Timaya and Solidstar, they did yearn for more.
No doubt, some peeps might say the girls were pretty semi-nude but that added flavor to the video, it spiced it up.
Good job!
