These past few days have not been so great for the rapper, Travis Scott, as he has suffered severe backlash following his Astrowrld concert tragedy.
As though that’s not bad enough, an angry woman was spotted outside Travis’ house protesting with placards with heavy captions.
This comes just 1 week after the concert that killed about 9 concertgoers. The said woman spent her day protesting outside of the 30-year-old’s Houston mansion, holding two large signs in her hands. Travis Scott lives here, one reads, while the other includes a list of people she would like to see held accountable for the loss of life. You destroyed lives, you deserve bankruptcy, she wrote.
Although the woman wishes to remain anonymous, she provides reporters with a few statements. It was multiple levels of failure, by the event organizers, the performers, officials. Local city ordinances and permits were clearly overlooked, security protocols were clearly not implemented when this was declared a mass casualty incident. That’s why I’m here, she explained.
I think these parties should go bankrupt, the protestor said, pointing at the Instagram handles of the likes of Scott himself, Kylie Jenner, Drake, NRG Park, Live Nation, Apple Music, and Cactus Jack
I haven’t seen an apology from any of the parties involved, and I understand they’re probably tight-lipped for legal purposes, but this was a mass loss of life for a concert. And it was completely preventable.
