Ubi Franklin’s South African baby mama, Nicola Siyo has shared her experience about the way women are being treated in Nigeria.
Nigerian renowned author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s shared a post on Instagram to celebrate International Women’s Day and spoke on how women are treated differently from men despite having the same characteristics. Nicola reacted stating that there is a lack of women’s rights in Nigeria and it’s sickening.
According to her, 2 years in Nigeria made her realize how women are treated terribly in the world. She added that women are called all sorts of names because of their gender. She wrote: I understand exactly where she is coming from. I spent 2 years in her Homeland Nigeria, sickening the lack of women’s rights. You are called all sorts of names because you stand for your name… as a woman.
