Prince of Afrobeat, Rema has revealed why he didn’t feature Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy on his debut album, Rave and Roses.

The Bad Commando went live on Instagram to defend himself after fans accused him of only featuring International artists. According to Rema, he only featured artists he is cool with it. He revealed that every artist featured on Rave and Roses; Chris Brown, 6lack, AJ Tracey, Yseult are his friends.

Rema said he didn’t want to feature the big boys in the afrobeats business just to make it look like they weren’t fighting. He emphasized the fact that whenever he is making music, he always does it with people he hang out with. He also clarified that he didn’t feature International artists because he wanted to look at International or cross boundaries.
