Ayra Starr’s Starrgirl Enjoys Massive Global Debut Across Streaming and Download Charts
Ayra Starr is off to an impressive start with her newly released 16-track album, Starrgirl, which is already making waves across major streaming and download platforms worldwide.
Featuring an all-star lineup that includes ZAYN, Wizkid, Rema, Leon Thomas, Kwn, Theodora, and Danny Ocean, the project has earned strong international support just days after its release.
On iTunes, Starrgirl debuted at No. 18 on the Worldwide iTunes Albums Chart, making it the 7th highest new entry, while also entering the European iTunes Albums Chart at No. 37 after peaking at No. 15 on the US iTunes Albums Chart. The album also reached No. 1 in Nigeria and Dominica.
The momentum continued on Apple Music, where Starrgirl arrived at No. 33 on the Worldwide Apple Music Albums Chart and No. 24 on the European Apple Music Albums Chart, ranking among the platform’s highest new entries. The album also reached No. 54 on the US Apple Music Albums Chart and topped the charts in 11 countries: Cameroon, Chad, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Back home, Starrgirl recorded 1,826,368 streams on Spotify Nigeria, further highlighting the project’s strong domestic reception.
The album’s success has also propelled Ayra Starr into the Top 40 of the Global Digital Artist Rank, marking another milestone in her rapidly growing international career.
With its chart dominance and widespread global appeal, Starrgirl is already shaping up to be one of the standout Afrobeats releases of the year.
