Summer has finally come to an end and we can say it was a beautiful one.
Let’s check out the songs that made our summer 2022 experience an incredible one.
1. Call Me Everyday – Chris Brown ft Wizkid
Chris Breezy and Wizkid link up once more to dish out a very addictive tune this summer. This new banger is titled, Call Me Everyday. This powerful duo has once again lit the faces of their fans all over the world with their new tune, Call Me every day.
Chris Shocks Nigerians by singing just like Nigerian artists. Each talent gives way for each other to deliver without one out-shinning the other. Call Me Everyday is definately a chart-topper already.
2. Asake – PBUY
Considering Asake`s as a street jam curator, Peace Be Upon You is another jam that has surpassed the vibe test. All the way from YBNL, Asake is here again with a brand new street anthem.
Both streets and clubhouses have been banging since this banger dropped. The song has just the right amount of vibe and rocked summer so well.
3. Oxlade – Ku Lo Sa
Talented Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oxlade is back with another impressive hit song titled, KU LO SA, which literally translates to Closer. The vocal powerhouse tells his lover that he wants her closer than ever. If you`re looking for that romantic go-to song this summer, Ku Lo Sa is your plug
4. Bandana – Fire Boy ft Asake
All the way from YBNL, Adedamola Adefolahan, widely known as Fire Boy DML premiers a brand new track dubbed, Bandana featuring his label mate, Asake. Both artists deliver pleasantly without one overshadowing the other.
Asake held down the chorus of the song as expected, while Fireboy also did justice to his verses. The song sprung to number No. 1 on Nigeria`s Top 100 in its release week.
For a couple of years now, Fireboy has been dishing out amazing sounds and has been able to show versatility via his craft.
5. Crayon -Ijo labala
Ijo Labala is a song by Mavin records Crayon. It`s a viral dance song that has now gone viral and netizens are all loving it. It has also gone viral on TikTok, with lots of fans feeling the choreography.
Although Crayon has not been so consistent, we reckon that whenever he gives us, we most certainly must take it. Ijo Laba-Laba was born purely out of cruise and we can tell that it`s going to be around for a while.
Furthermore, Ijo Laba Laba also serves as a follow-up to the Mavin All stars, Overdose that had us hooked for the longest, and still does anyways.
6. Burna Boy – Last Last
Oluwadamini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy makes a comeback into the music scene with his freshly premiered jam dubbed, Last Last, meaning (Eventually). The Grammy-award-winning music powerhouse made the release on the 13th of May, 2022.
Last Last is a record off Burna Boy`s forthcoming studio project slated to be released on his birthday in July. The song has the right amount of vibe and cruise, a banging beat, and catchy lyrics. It will be recalled that OluwaBurna closed the Billboard Award with an incredible performance of Last Last, causing the audience to go wild.

7. Asake – Palazzo
YBNL signee, Asake teams up with one of Nigeria`s most talented Disc Jockey, DJ Spinall to bring to our ears the song, Palazzo. Palazzo is one of the many songs that were released on the 13th of May, 2022 a memorable day in the music industry.
Considering Asake`s as a street jam curator, Palazzo passes as another hit, raking accolades in both streets and clubhouses. Lastly, the song has just the right amount of vibe and should definitely be on your playlist.
8. Buga – Kizz Daniel X tekno
Fly Boy Inc huncho, Kizz Daniel employs the services of multi-talent, Tekno to bless us with the song of the hour, Buga. This comes as a follow-up to his song, “Barnabas,” which currently serves as his most-streamed song to date.
Nonetheless, Buga keeps buzzing on all social media and streaming platforms, and not just that. Kizz Daniel made sure to come through with a signature dance move.
9. Oversoe – Mavin all stars
I bet you never saw this coming, another Mavin All-Stars collaboration? Don Jazzy has done it again, and this collaborative effort birthed the brand new hit, Overdose.
We must warn you though, that this jam is very addictive with an over-the-roof repeat value. Don Jazzy definitely outdid himself this time. Overdose is a track with features from Don Jazzy, Ayra Starr, Crayon, Magixx, Ladipoe, and Boy Spyce.
10. Sugarcane remix – Mayorkun, Darko, King Promise, Camidoh
All the way from Ghana, talented singer, Camidoh blesses us with the remix of his single, Sugarcane, with the services of King Promise, Mayorkun from Nigeria, and Darkoo. The song is an amazing one with catchy lyrics and vibes. Sugarcane Remix was produced by amazing talent, Phantom.
11. Sungba remix – Asake ft Burna Boy
All the way from YBNL camp, Ololade Mi Asake has dished out an impressive remix of the track, Sungba, featuring Grammy-Award-Winning singer, Burna Boy. The remix is one that is fast going viral on social media and on the streets. This comes after the success of the original song.
Sungba is also the 2nd track off his EP, Ololade Asake, with features from Olamide. Just like everyone other street jam, Sungba is an addictive one with raw lyrics, typically asking a lady not to be shy because he has got enough money to take care of her and in return, she needs to Sungbalaja.
Undoubtedly, Sungba has all the ginger we can ever wish for seeing that the African Giant was brought on board.
