“Work” is essentially an enjoyable mid-tempo hip-hop song by ATEEZ. Its production, which is different from most of ATEEZ’s title tracks, is snappy and funky. The well-executed rhythmic changes are accompanied by a discernible decrease in the startling voice effects that KQ Entertainment frequently uses.
