When Hustle was being recorded, little did Chilex know that it would have such a warm reception, it was just fine blend of raw talent and sheer passion. Chibueze Kingsley Ezeugo aka (Chilex) started off in primary school, performing at end-of-year parties, and after finishing his secondary education in Abuja, he moved to Lagos to fully pursue his music career.
Describing his sojourn so far through the music industry, the Imo state-born promising act confessed to how tough the terrain is, saying it was ”˜all man for himself`, as no one was ready to sponsor an up comer; ”˜”˜one just has to pay their dues and earn every single thing!“ He in fact, revealed that he has had to pay to perform at a couple of big events and awards like Industry Nite and Headies, services he was supposed to have been paid for instead. But he wasn`t pre-warned that the hustle was sold separately!
Speaking on his first official single, Hustle, Chilex said the Afropop tune was inspired by his desire to make his mother proud, for sticking by him in his days of little beginning. He added that the track was also dedicated to every woman out there holding it together for their loved ones with future projects. The Hustle singer has promised to serve a variety of genres, maximizing his full potential, Like that is not already enough to look forward.
