Releasing at the start of April, ‘Dutty O’clock’ marks Biza Blingza’s latest Afrobeats EP, a bold mix of street energy, Edo heritage, and modern Afro-fusion. This 7-track project reflects his growth as a confident, grounded, and spiritually connected artist, whose work with featured artists Papichino, Diamant-B & Cyrus tha virus brings a fresh and authentic blend of Nigerian roots with UK influences. The lead single, Ancestors, opens the EP with a deep, soulful Afro-fusion sound, honouring lineage and the ancestors who guide his journey, and sets the tone for a project built around identity, timing, and raw honesty.

Biz Blingza, also known as Dutty Blingz, is an Afrobeats artist from Manchester, United Kingdom, originally from Benin City in Edo State, Nigeria. He first made a name for himself as part of the group N2K, where he released several projects and singles that started turning heads. In January 2022, he stepped out as a solo artist and brought a new, freshing and boldly original sound to the UK Afrobeats scene.

Since then, he has released tracks like Edo Boys, Dboi, Area Boy, Dutty World, and Big Boys alongside his seminal single Ancestors, the lead from his upcoming EP Dutty O’clock, showing a deeper, more atmospheric side to his music and hints at the next phase of his artistry. Influenced by global icons like 50 Cent and G-Unit as well as Nigerian artist Cyrus Tha Virus, Biz Blingza blends street authenticity with vibrant Afro-rhythms to create a sound that is entirely his own.
