Mr Mayz, real names Akintomiwa Michael Ayobami is a budding singer from Osun State who is set to take the Nigerian sound to the global community. Born in ikotun area of Lagos state, Mr Mayz is not only a talented singer but also a Songwriter.
His love for music started at an early age of 12 while listening to the likes of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, king sunny Ade, Lil Wayne, and Eminem. But he discovered his sound when he started spending time listening to artists like Chris Brown, jhene Aiko, 2face, Wanda coal.
Mr Mayz says he was self-taught and didn`t receive any formal training or tutelage. He says again he draws his inspiration from his surroundings and his day to day activities Mr Mayz says he no only aim to entertain people with his music, ut aim to create awareness of interpersonal violence and abuse prevention.
