Born Qudus Lawal in Lagos State, Nigeria. Deuce attended primary school and secondary school in Mushin where He spent most of his childhood years. Deuce grew up listening to afrobeat, fuji music and sometimes having the opportunity to watch Artists like pasuma perform. On his first day of high school, the first friend he made introduced him to hip hop and rap music. Deuce did his own research on the genre and quickly became a hip hop and rap fan. Deuce started writing his own rhymes and lyrics when he was 14, he finally got a chance to record over an instrumental at age 16 when his brother sent him a laptop from the U.S.A. Deuce recorded a few songs he let his friends listen to and also criticize in order to improve his new found talent. Deuce graduated from high school and enrolled in Olabisi Onabanjo University also know as OSU. Deuce traveled to the United States after just one quarter in college, in this new environment, he started writing new materials and making new tracks. Deuces flow, originality and sometimes hidden messages in his bars has gained him recognition among his peers. Tracks like Omolade, Rob Us, For Lagos, Love Her, Got Me High and so on has gotten him established as one of the best new artists Nigeria has ever seen
