Young Vim the name, HoodAfricanz the game. Young Vim been putting it down sence 2005, but been singing when he was in first grade. always in talent shows singing and dancing, win most of them as well. Young Vim is a Ghanaian native who is came to the States in december 1998, with his mother and two sister to join his father.

Young Vim always knew some how he was goin to come overseas, so when he did he tried to make sure he can make is dreams come true. He join the drammer club, also went to the boys and girls club which gave more chances to show off his love for music and dancing. In grammer school Young Vim won a talent show with The Tong Songs, which made him know as one of the best dancer and singer around the northside of Chicago, yet still rap skills have not landed.

In high school Young became a big fan of Cash Money Records, and knew almost all the songs CMB made from head to toes. Vim started to write his own raps and at the same time was one of lead singers in his church, he tried to make beats by beating the tables at lanch for others to rap, and man, he was good at it too. But he knew he was beter then all of them, but he took his time study the way he was goin to bring himself out.

After high school Young Vim started DJing and still singin while brushing up on his rap skills, while in collage. After collage, is when he started to take the rap game head on, about the same time he came across MoBeatz and that’s when the game started.
