MONEY & LOVE– Sir Wizkid (Big Wiz) cemented his role as one of Afrobeats` chief ambassadors with his feature on Drake`s 2016 hit, βΛOne DanceβΛ which paved way for his third studio album βΛSounds From The Other SideβΛ (assisted by TY Dolla $ign, Major Lazer & more) that further developed Afrobeats` irresistibly airy grooves.
In October 2020, he released his fourth album,Β Made In LagosΒ which received global commercial success, reaching number-one on the Billboard World Album Chart. The album includes the singleΒ Essence, featuringΒ TemsΒ that became the first Nigerian song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top ten following aΒ Remix (featuring Justin Bieber).
In 2022, he dropped his fifth studio album titled, ‘More Love, Less Ego’ as a follow up to the success of Made In Lagos. The lead singles; βΛBad To MeβΛ and βΛMoney & LoveβΛ welcomed the project in November 11. Wizkid featured Ayra Starr, Skepta, Naira Marley, Don Toliver, Skillibeng and Shensea on the 13-tracked album.
