In other news, social media activist Verydarkman has reversed his support for Dammy Krane in the ongoing legal battle with Davido. Previously, Verydarkman had urged Davido to release Dammy Krane from prison and give him another chance. However, in a recent video, the TikToker revealed that he was now finished with Dammy Krane due to the singer’s refusal to apologize to Davido or acknowledge his mistakes.
Verydarkman recounted that he had spent hours trying to persuade Dammy Krane to apologize, even drafting an apology for him. However, Dammy Krane rejected the proposed apology, altered it significantly, and removed any content that could have been helpful. The activist mentioned that Dammy Krane believed apologizing would make him appear guilty. He even called a police officer to intervene, but Dammy Krane remained unrepentant and lacked evidence against Davido.
In his video, Verydarkman thanked Davido for his attention and noted that the Grammy nominee was quite emotional during their phone discussions about the case. He stated that he would await the court’s decision and wished Dammy Krane well, recalling that Dammy Krane had previously referred to Davido as his brother and thanked Verydarkman following his release.
In related news, controversial media figure Daniel Regha has sparked debate by criticizing Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, over his recent N1 billion donation to a church. Adedeji Adeleke’s substantial contribution to the church, which he visited on Sunday, has generated significant buzz.
Regha voiced his concerns, arguing that while charitable donations are commendable, giving such a large sum in a country struggling with starvation and widespread hardship seems misplaced. He suggested that the funds could have been more effectively used to create job opportunities.
Regha commented, “Giving to the church is fine, but donating over a billion to any church, in a country where millions are starving and struggling to survive, doesn’t seem right. Davido’s dad should’ve used about 80% of that money to create employment opportunities.”
