Footage surfaced online capturing the moment when the camera focused on Drake seated in a VIP area during Naomi Sharon’s performance at the Tems show.
Canadian music icon Drake was spotted attending the Toronto stop of Nigerian artist Tems’ ‘Born In The Wild’ tour at History, Toronto, on Saturday evening. The rapper was seen enjoying the Tems show, nodding along to the music. During her set, headliner Tems revealed that she had overcome a cold to perform at the event, saying, “I have a cold but we’re gonna dance this cold away.”
Tems went on to deliver a captivating performance at the Tems show, showcasing a medley of tracks from her debut album ‘Born In The Wild’ alongside selections from her earlier works. Tems and Drake have previously collaborated on two occasions: first on the track ‘Fountain’ by the Canadian rapper, and subsequently as featured artists on Future’s ‘Wait 4 U’, which reached the top position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

On Drink Champs, he expressed frustration over how he often sends messages to Jay-Z and Drake, only to be met with indifference or passive-aggressive behavior when he engages them in conversations they prefer to avoid.
In related news, Drake has shed light on a long-standing rumour about his 2016 track “Too Good,” featuring Rihanna, by revealing new insights into its inspiration. The rapper shared previously unseen studio footage that includes a candid confession about the song’s muse. In the video, Drake is seen speaking to his mother, who is off-camera, and admits that “Too Good” was inspired by tennis star Serena Williams. He explains that the lyrics, which express being “too good” for a partner, were both about and for Serena.
Drake reveals, “If I’m going to talk about [women], I’ll at least do them the justice of making them a song they like. I know Serena very well and I’m sure she’ll hear it loud and clear.”
He adds that he doesn’t expect Serena to take offense, as the song was meant to be light-hearted. During the conversation, Drake’s mother humorously reminds him that Serena has since moved on, likely alluding to her relationship with Alexis Ohanian, whom she began dating in 2015. Drake and Serena’s relationship was publicly confirmed after they were seen kissing at a Cincinnati restaurant. They were frequently seen together at high-profile events, but their romance ended quickly as Serena got engaged to Alexis later in 2016.
This new footage gives fans a rare look into Drake’s creative process and the real-life inspirations behind his music.
