Nigerian artist Tems has addressed the bizarre pregnancy rumours circulating online about her being pregnant by American rapper Future, setting the record straight.
In a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Tems discussed her music, tour, and Afrobeats, and was asked about the wildest pregnancy rumours she had encountered. The singer touched on the widespread pregnancy rumours from earlier this year, which claimed she was expecting a child with Future, a rapper known for having eight children with different mothers.
Tems responded, “The wildest thing I’ve heard about myself is probably the pregnancy rumours. I don’t know where they came from; I have no clue. I was just minding my business being homeless, but it was all so crazy. I think it’s because people are recognizing me.”
The pregnancy rumours surprised Tems, who found them to be among the strangest things she has ever faced.
“Oh yeah, I feel like people just latch onto the most controversial thing. I was thinking, why am I pregnant? And for Future? Why Future? Why him? That’s the craziest thing. Why not WizKid? Why not Drake? Why not someone else? It would be the same thing, but with Future, it’s extreme,” Tems explained.
The host, laughing, asked, “Did you have to clear up the pregnancy rumours with family members? Did they call you up like, ‘I heard this?’”
Recall that Nigerian prophetess Ahunna Scarlet Ejiogu had made headlines with an intriguing prophecy about Future and Tems. According to Ahunna, God had revealed to her that Tems would be the one to “tame” Future and make him settle down. This prophecy drew attention and sparked curiosity about the potential dynamics between the two.
God says: Music Artists, Future and Tems will eventually get married. Tems will use her African maternal hand to tame Future into marital submission @future @tems @RecordingAcad #Rihanna #GrammyAwards #FentyBowl #RihannaSuperBowl #RIPAAKA #America #Chiefs #Mahomes @hot_tones

Ahunna Scarlet Ejiogu is known for her prophetic statements. She had previously issued a warning two years ago regarding South African rap star Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known as AKA. Ahunna had cautioned AKA to avoid public gatherings or risk being targeted, a prediction that proved to be accurate.
On May 2, 2021, Ahunna tweeted: “God says: South Africa’s Rap artist, AKA should beware of a gunshot that will take his life. He should avoid mafia friendships and gatherings or else he will become a target #SouthAfrica.”
