Afriyie Peprah Kofi Ver$e Rico also known as TaifaBoyVer$e was born on July 13th in Taifa Accra Ghana.He spent his early years in a household influenced by music.His likeness for music grew stronger when he was sent to live with his mother’s sister and her husband.He grew up listening to 2pac,The Notorious B.I.G,Eazy E nd Snoop.He had no option but to write raps for his cousin and his friends who were then in high school but decided to that for himself since he could connect lines in a different way..The past years has been learning phase for TaifaBoyVer$e.
He was a confirmed as a member of an underground group Dock 16 after they found out about his battling skills.Ver$e Rico left Dock 16 after a year and formed his own group GuttaVille but disbanded after 2 years because two of the group members left the country and another passed away.He still mentions his old crew in his raps. He battled his way throughout Senior High School and awarded with the Best Rapper Award whiles in Senior High. He has worked with so many underground acts and he still continues to do what he does best.He released his first mixtape Se Wo Suro which means Y’all Scared in the local dialect.He is currently working on his second mixtape The Back Up Plan He has got two hot freestyles out and available for download. I’m iLL (Fabolous cover) and Moment Of Clarity(Jay-Z Cover)…His songs are adored by rap lovers.Ver$e Rico holds a diploma from the Institute Of Aviation and Professional and still continues his studies at the African University College of Communication.TaifaBoyVer$e is considered as the future of Hip Hop in Ghana.Representing his neighborhood forever and Accra the Capital of Ghana.
