Manchester-based pastor and gospel singer Ekes Osajele has officially released his debut single, It Belongs To You, a song born out of one of the most difficult seasons of his life.

For years, Osajele had music in his heart but never really pursued it. Between ministry, family, and business, singing was something he only did occasionally. “I never saw it as my calling,” he admits.

That changed after a sudden health crisis turned his world upside down. What started as constant itching soon became sleepless nights, exhaustion, and dangerously high blood pressure. Doctors eventually diagnosed him with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) — news that left him shaken as a pastor, husband, and father.

Instead of giving in to fear, Osajele leaned fully on God through prayer and worship. What happened next, he says, was nothing short of a miracle. “God healed me supernaturally. The doctors could not explain it, but I knew it was His hand,” he recalls.

During that period of healing, songs began to rise from his spirit — and what he once treated as a hidden gift became an undeniable calling. “I realized this gift was never meant to be quiet. I must use it to glorify God,” he shares.

That awakening gave birth to It Belongs To You, a worship song of gratitude and surrender that acknowledges God as the source of healing, blessing, and victory. Early listeners have called it moving, uplifting, and deeply personal.

Osajele hopes the song will encourage anyone facing silent battles or health struggles. “This song is a reminder that God is still a healer, still a miracle worker, and still worthy of our worship,” he says.

With the single now available on all major streaming platforms, Osajele is stepping into gospel music with a renewed mission: to use his voice as a consistent testimony of hope. “Every song is a testimony, and this one declares that everything belongs to Him,” he adds.
