‘Chukwudi’ crooner, Joe El, recently granted an interview where he talked about his music and similarities between him and Hypertek boss, Tu Face Idibia now known as Tu Baba.
Joe El, revealed that he actually wanted to sound more like Akon, which prompted him to always tell producers to add auto tune to his voice when mixing which never worked as he always ended up sounding like Tu Baba.
The Kennis music act recounted his first day of meeting Tu Baba, saying it was indeed an awesome day. He confessed that he thought Tu Face was going to sign him upon meting him for the first time, due to them looking and sounding alike, but was disappointed he did not. He further added that he was actually glad the legendary singer did not insult him for trying to sound like him.
