Davido is trending on Twitter for all the right reasons!
This morning, FIFA World Cup officials announced that Davido, Trinidad Cardona, and Aisha were all featured in the official soundtrack of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Davido also made history by becoming the first Afrobeats artist to be featured on FIFA Soundtrack in the history of the football competition.
The news sent Internet users into a frenzy and many have taken to Twitter to congratulate Davido for his win and also for taking Nigerians to the World Cup. Sensible Nigerians thanked Davido for doing what Super Eagles failure to qualify for (the World Cup) when they lost to Ghana on the 29th of March.
30BG who have been waiting for an opportunity to drag Wizkid FC and Outsiders (Burna Fans) mocked them as their faves failed to make the FIFA consideration list. They also dragged Wizkid and Burna Boy for singing Ballon D’or however FIFA didn’t want their Penkelemesi and chose Davido.
They also informed Wizkid Fc that this is just the tip of the iceberg and their hearts will break as they watch Davido open the World Cup activities.
