Nigerian singer, Simi has joined the millions talking about the untimely and gruesome death of Sylvester Oromoni (Jnr).

Yesterday, The family of Sylvester Oromoni hired the firm of a foremost human rights lawyer and activist, Femi Falana, to prosecute its case against Dowen College over the death of their son who was a victim of bullying by their students.

Reacting to the news and the stories of bullying surfacing online, Simi took to her IG story to pen down a heartfelt message advising parents on what to do if such an ugly incident ever occurs again.

Simi made it clear that parents shouldn’t let their kids go back to schools like Dowen College even after they have apologised.

According to Simi, she has have never been an advocate for boarding schools because Children at their age are sensitive and always need their parents. She encouraged parents to spend more time with their children and always pay attention to them especially the quiet ones.
