Afrobeats artist Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has opened up about the influence Grammy-winning artist Wizkid has had on his music. In a recent discussion about his latest album, Lungu Boy, Asake shared how excited he was to collaborate with Wizkid on the track ‘MMS’. He expressed that Wizkid has been a significant inspiration throughout his career.
Asake noted:
“It’s no secret that Wizkid is one of my music inspirations. As a young artist striving in Lagos, I was waiting for the perfect opportunity to work with him. When the chance came, it was an easy decision.
‘MMS’ stands for ‘Mr Money Sound’ and reflects my journey in music.”
