Nigerian artist Portable accused Davido of using him for clout and not providing any financial support or a verse for a collaboration.
“Davido ripped me, you invited me out for a dinner in America but you didn’t give me a verse or money, you just used me to trend. You should have given me at least $10,000” Portable was heard saying in the video.
It should be noted that Davido had previously invited Portable to a dinner in Atlanta, US. However, Portable has now accused the singer of providing him with misleading advice during their time in America. Portable has made several other statements that led to the singer unfollowing him on Instagram, which further fueled Portable’s anger. In a recent online video, Portable alleges that Davido took advantage of him and only used him to gain popularity.
According to Portable, instead of taking advantage of him, Davido should have collaborated with him and allowed him to shine. Portable expressed his belief that he is a ‘superstar’ and that Davido should have compensated him with a sum of $10,000 for his efforts.
