Burna Boy, a Nigerian singer, has continued to belittle his fellow musician, Brymo, in his most recent song.
Burna Boy ignited controversy with his brilliant dig at Brymo, displaying his flamboyant flair and crisp lyrics while rehearsing with his band, Outsiders, in a freestyle session.
In his song lyrics, the City Boys’ hit producer declared, “I’m a son of a gangster while you’re a son of a carpenter,” causing fans and critics alike to ponder the underlying message.
Fans assumed that Burna Boy was strongly criticizing Brymo for the release of his second studio album, Son of a Kapenta’, which was released in November 2012.
It should be noted that Burna Boy and Brymo have had a falling out after the latter accused him of song theft. He claimed that Burna Boy’s songs City Boys’ and I Told Them’ sampled the title track from his next album, Macabre’.
Burna quickly created a freestyle video, telling followers to hustle hard so they don’t fall off like Brymo. Their feud sparked outrage among social media users.
In the latest development, the self-made Odogwu’ refused to back down and proceeded to attack Brymo in his music lyrics.
Social media users flocked to the comments area to voice their thoughts.
