Calvin Harris has announced a new collaboration with Sam Smith on a new single titled Desire. The track has already been previewed at a few of Calvin`s live shows in Ibiza this summer, but now it looks like it`s time to share it with the world. The hypnotic track is set to drop on Friday, July 28.

Calvin shared a preview of Desire on his social media pages, and it`s safe to say that he`s continuing to explore the different eras of dance music, from trance to high-NRG.
You take me higher, Sam says on the thumping chorus, take me away, you are my desire.

This isn`t the first time Calvin has collaborated with Sam on a truly banger. Calvin and Sam`s 2018 hit Promises was one of the UK`s biggest singles of the year, peaking at number one for eight consecutive weeks. It was also one of the biggest songs of the year, ranking second only to Demi Lovato`s βOne Kissβ.
Promises has gained more than 2m UK chart units and more than 238m streams since its release in April this year. Desire will be Calvin`s second single of the year, following his collaboration with Ellie Goulding, βMiracleβ, which reached number one on the Official Charts for eight consecutive weeks and is now his eighth number one single on the chart.
Ellie is now the second British solo artist to have more number one singles than Calvin (Geri Halliwell, Rita Ora and Katy Perry).
