Singer, Chris Brown had quite a lot to say to his critics in the early hours of March 9, 2024.
The Grammy Award-winning musician expressed his emotions on his Instagram stories over the disrespect that he has been and still is receiving from music lovers.
Chris Brown stated frankly that he does not need any validation and acceptance from the mainstream media and fake celebrities’.
“I am a king in my own lane, your fave ain’t got sh*t on me and they know it”, He added.
Brown continued by saying that everyone who has ever disregarded him will soon ask for his forgiveness.
Since 2009, when his relationship with fellow singer Rihanna ended abruptly and Brown was accused of domestic abuse, Chris Brown has been dealing with the well-known industry “Cancel Culture.”
Since then, internet users have claimed that because of the Rihanna incident, he is purposefully excluded from nominations for awards and other privileges accorded to artists of his caliber.
Nevertheless, Brown has managed to keep his head above water. The singer is set to go on a much-anticipated tour with Nigeria’s Ayra Starr and America’s Muni Long from June 5 to August 7, 2024.
