Nigerian artists Davido and Dammy Krane engaged in a public dispute this week after Krane accused Davido of not showing appreciation for past support.
In a post calling out Davido, Krane claimed he provided career assistance to Davido but had not received proper acknowledgement.
Davido then responded asserting that Krane had actually benefited more from Davido’s unpaid musical contributions and hospitality when first launching his career.
Davido stated he was never compensated for guest verses on Krane’s songs nor royalties, estimating lost earnings of $450,000 at current rates.
He also referenced providing housing and food for Krane in the past during struggles early in his career before achieving success.

Krane has not yet responded to Davido’s allegations.
