Davido Says Joint Project with Chris Brown Is Expected Next Year
Davido has offered fans a fresh update on his highly anticipated collaborative project with American R&B superstar Chris Brown.
Speaking about the long-rumored body of work, the Afrobeats star revealed that the duo has already recorded more than 20 songs, adding that the project is currently being held back until the timing feels right.
“Honestly, I think me & CB would drop next year. Like I said, we’ve recorded over 20 something songs. It’s just the right time for everything is the best time, but I think we’ll drop next year,” Davido said.
The update comes after years of successful collaborations between the two artists, whose chemistry has produced fan-favorite records including Blow My Mind and Sensational. Their consistent musical partnership has fueled anticipation for a full-length collaborative project.
While no official title or release date has been confirmed, Davido‘s latest comments suggest the project is well underway and could finally arrive next year if everything goes according to plan.
