The manager of superstar Davido, Asa Asika, recently gave an insight into his artist is yet to collaborate with Burna Boy and Wizkid on a song.
During his recent appearance on the Ventes Rap show, Asika found himself in the spotlight as the interviewer didn’t hold back in challenging him about Davido’s seeming lack of musical collaborations with major players in the industry like Wizkid and Burna Boy.
The interviewer questioned,
“How come we don’t see Davido featuring Burna Boy or Wizkid?”

Davido’s manager deftly avoided answering the issue directly in his response directing the discussion to the cooperative endeavors of well-known musicians.
He mentioned that Wizkid and Burna Boy had also cooperated on a song and that Davido had worked with Kizz Daniel.
Asika also emphasized the synergy and connectivity within the music industry by highlighting his partnership with Davido.
In his words:
“There have been collaborations, Burna Boy and Wizkid have a song, Davido and Kizz Daniel have a song, Davido and Olamide have a song, Asake is on David’s album, so the big artistes in Nigeria work, they might not collaborate as often but they do. Collaboration is one of the major things that have pushed Afrobeats to where it is.”
